Laguna Beach Lifeguards
St. Ann's Street

Popular activities are surfing (south end, south of the surf flag), body surfing, and body boarding. The beach is used almost exclusively used by locals of all ages who are into surfing.

Hazardous and rip conditions are numerous. The whole area is a rock reef with one section of sandy bottom, and this section of sandy bottom becomes the strongest rip in town when there is large surf (just north of the tower). This rip often extends 200 yards seaward.
